I tried out two books tonight and one was bad and one was serviceable buuuuut not sure if it’s worth my time 🙃😡 I have a lot of thoughts about fantasy that lore dumps on me immediately. Like I guess it’s helpful…but I’m not interested in the characters yet so I don’t CARE about their world yet

Seeing the Bill Watterson originals full of pencil lines of stuff that didn’t work, scuffs the eraser didn’t pick up, white out galore and more was something I needed to see to remind myself that nothing is perfect the first go and tweaks need to be made and you’re allowed to try again.

My vacation has been really nice :) it’s weird when you connect with people because you know you’ll never see them again. It’s easier to like strangers when you know they’re very temporary. Maybe it lets my guard down more?
