Duckworth: "It is a war crime. It's illegal. No matter how you put it, it's all illegal. I've been shot down behind enemy lines. Under the laws of war, you are supposed to help render aid to that individual ... you're not allowed to go back in and kill them."

Ugh My A1c shot up to 8.7 my last test was 7.3 We’ve switched me to Mounjaro last friday since Ozempic hasn’t been working right after my bypass with weight gains. No wonder why I’ve been sluggish and exhausted these past several months.

All set up and ready to go. Gotta say it’s the small touches that make a show and having a nice soft chair that’s not a folding one is absolute bliss. I only forgot one folio it just had the Doom Patrol omnibus covers and three Green Lantern pages…. I always forget one item.

With everything going on today and if you follow me you know my views I’m just going to post art. These are possible contenders for watercolors or just black and whites. Enjoy.

A few sketches that may eventually be watercolors or just black and whites. I haven’t decided yet. #emceeartist #savagedragon #shadowlass #thunder #wintersoldier

I’ve seen this film easily 30 times, at least 5 times in a theatre. I own it on Blu-ray. It never gets old( no pun) seeing it again on the big screen is always a great time. At the Hollywood and it’s free.

Heading out for an appointment at OHSU in a few minutes. Tomorrow is Wake Up And Draw and I’ll need a Kirby creation to draw. List suggestions below. Previous characters I’ve done for have been Thing, Demon, Barda and Mister Miracle. So those are excluded. Go.

Can’t wait. Looking forward to signing this years yearbook. I went to town on it and brought in Tom Gaadt to color my piece. The actual Bone color artist since that was the theme of the book. Tom did not disappoint. Drew in my creations to interact with The Bones.

I’ve been slowly catching up on my commissions list. Here’s a couple I’ve recently sent off. On the table now is a Rita watercolor, followed by Mass Effect pen and ink and a Liara watercolor. It’s been ages since I have done watercolors so I’m a bit nervous. #emceeartist

The inks for the Doom Patrol Omnibus. I went in and fixed some of stuff that I thought didn’t work in the pencils. I definitely liked doing the supporting characters on separate boards, gave me a lot of flexibility to adjust and resize. You can preorder www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/797489...

The pencils for the Doom Patrol Omnibus cover in 4 parts. My eyes aren’t the best so I needed to piece it together. The central image is 11.5 by 17.5 live art area. The lower tier illustration group are on 10 by 15 as I needed to draw them bigger as I wanted the body language and detail. #DoomPatrol

Graduation day. My evaluation was a 6 minutes at the fastest pace I could sustain for 6 minutes. This was compared with my first evaluation when I began. I have increased my performance by 67 % from 1200 steps to 2100. And I got a diploma for my experience. #emceeartist
