Also: I work for one of the really big production cloud providers. I am one of the rare folks with real access to production. I have tons of powers most employees do not. I could not significantly damage the product. I could maybe wedge a few things but it wouldn't impact production directly.

Aside on this: I keep waiting for Ground News to go fully feral and start running GLM models that just inject ground news audits into every news story you see on Facebook via browser extension. This is very doable and it would just be impossible for Meta to stop without turning off the web side.

Those problems are absolutely a clear eyed description of Meta, modern ad tech, and Amazon's Marketplace. Those things ARE big tech to the average person living in NA/UK/Europe. And AI messaging slots into that alignment rather than challenging it.

I am boosting this to highlight a fundamental misalignment w.r.t. AI messaging (which is perhaps the most destructive technology in the last decade to the top down funnel internet we've been forced to endure) and its perception. And this is mostly AI corps fault for being way out of touch.
