We are spending this much money, not for some vital national interest, but in order to secure oil shipments from the Gulf Monarchies to China so that oil prices don't spike before the midterms. There are Navy guys who haven't seen their family in 8 months doing it so the GOP can maybe win KS-SEN

(1) Susan Collins looks ancient in this debate (2) Basically Collins wants a cookie for getting Trump to withhold part of his absurdly unconstitutional tariffs, when senators should be fighting to end them all: congress, not the president, controls taxation.

Netherlands: "Even years after infection, the situation remains hopeless for many post-COVID patients" A new study found just 12% of post-COVID patients had largely recovered 3 years after infection. Two-thirds were still unable to work or were working fewer hours due to ongoing symptoms.

VYD2311, a new COVID monoclonal antibody, had fewer side effects than an mRNA vaccine in a Phase 3 trial (56.5% vs 91.4%). Combined with vaccination, it boosted neutralizing antibodies 2.5-fold, potentially offering extra protection without interfering with the vaccine's immune response.
A screenshot of a medical news article from Contagion Live (Infectious Diseases Today), dated September 29, 2026.
The bold headline reads: "VYD2311 Shows Superior Tolerability to mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine in Phase 3 Study".
The summary paragraph below states: "In the phase 3 LIBERTY study, the investigational monoclonal antibody, VYD2311, had significantly fewer adverse events than an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, and it did not blunt vaccine-induced neutralizing titers when the two were given together."

In lawsuits trying to keep an entire class of American citizens from voting, the GOP has openly admitted that the reason they want to disenfranchise the Americans is that they don't tend to vote for Republicans. The most anti-American, anti-Constitutional cult ever.
In lawsuits, GOP officials have argued state laws and other rules permitting voting by never-resided citizens violate state constitutions. They also have claimed in court filings that these U.S. citizens are disproportionately registered as non-Republican voters and allowing them to cast ballots hurts GOP chances of winning elections.
