I had never seen this Game Boy model that came on an action figure card backing, it makes me happy to look at. Man, remember consumer electronics?

Mine. Photo from my collection, no date/info.

Black-and-white photo of a kitchen scene. A shorthaired tabby cat is sitting on a chair, peeking over the edge of a table and using one paw to steal some kind of food items off the table. It’s a pile of small, light colored objects. I think it might be cereal.

🚨 CRYPTID SIGHTING 🚨 Spotted at E3 1995. If you see this Rayman, please report him to raymanwatch@raymancontrol.gov

A mascot suit for Rayman, as seen at E3 1995. He is unusually lanky and has permanent pog face and a haunting stare.

Konami's Goemon franchise isn't the easiest to market in the West. (This U.S. print ad for 2000's Goemon's Great Adventure on N64 is... a good illustration?)

This is a part of the game's second level that exists only for you to go watch the birds and enjoy some serenity. It has its own location and scrolls the rest of the level off screen so you're not interrupted, it's very intentional. It's absolutely wild to see something like this on the NES.

OoT: Obligatory "they hired him" quip. I didn't see the entire thing yet but seems fine, I guess? May be close, but I wouldn't say it's 1:1, there's at least some new things in there. For a true 1:1 remake, see BDSP which is basically the same code running w/Unity, glitches and all

Surprised Pikachu kitty. Photo from my collection, no date/info.

Black and white photo of a shorthaired tabby cat lying on a sunny lawn. Its mouth is slightly open as if meowing at the camera. Its mouth resembled a popular meme that shows a yellow Pokémon character called pikachu with a surprised expression on its face.

The Battle of Olympus remake is so cute!!! I didn't realize that it was basically made by two people who ended up marrying each other! It looks like this remaster is meant to also be their last game development project, ending where they began.

This is one of my greatest treasures. A guy came into Luna Video Games, the original location, so nearly two decades ago. He had a plastic trash bag that was full of wet, sandy porn DVDs that he wanted to sell. When I told him no he slid me this card and said “if you change your mind…”

It depicts a crowd of orchestra musician rabbits sitting with their instruments handy on a stage. A rabbit conductor takes up most of the space on the right-hand side of the image. The title box at the top left reads, "Silly Rabbit Orchestra".

a batch of strange lil buny doodles, done as a commission for @duskmantlevt.bsky.social! as always, i am here to remind you that bunies can do anything (and you cannot stop them)

a semi-realistic drawing of a dark purple bunny with galaxy patterns inside its ears, but the bunny has an abnormally long body with several extra legs. its body is bunched up in the middle like a caterpillar as it scoots along a tree branch and munches on a big leaf.

four more drawings of the same purple rabbit in various forms:
the first one is a plushie with button eyes and a little black cape, flopped on the ground.
the second is a more realistic bunny with a completely neutral expression, still wearing the cape and pointing a handgun at the viewer with a large human left hand.
the third is another realistic bunny, caught in mid-leap as one large hole and two smaller ones are blasted in it, revealing it to be made of liquid metal like the T-1000 from Terminator 2. its one visible eye glows red.
the fourth is a little purple flan with bunny ears and a cartoon face, bouncing up from a small plate and accompanied by a spoon. the sauce is also purple and galaxy-patterned.
