Fellow allies... My emotional well-being has been struggling of late, and I know I’m not alone in that. I care deeply about all of you. When I return, I’ll be ready to come back even stronger. We’re in this together, and our strength comes from lifting each other up. Rest. Recover. Rise stronger.

Idle No More is a call to rise, resist, and reclaim what has been stolen. The government and corporations will not stop their destruction, so neither can we. Block the roads, shut down the pipelines, and disrupt the systems that oppress Indigenous peoples and lands.

What do we do? That’s the question... the one that keeps me restless. We’ve carved out this space to speak freely, to expose the truth. But talk alone won’t shake the foundations of what we’re up against. We see it. We know it. We need to find the line between dialogue and action... and cross it.

In a diplomatic spectacle that could only be described as ‘art of the deal’ meets ‘art of war,’ Trump berated Zelenskyy in the Oval Office for being ‘disrespectful’ in defending his country against Russian aggression. After all, who needs allies when you can have adversaries?

Coordinate a large-scale sit-in at government offices or corporate headquarters tied to economic injustice, refusing to leave until demands for policy change are addressed. Nonviolent disruption forces authorities to acknowledge public grievances while highlighting the power of collective action.

Organize a mass fare evasion protest on public transit to highlight economic injustice, urging participants to demand fare-free transit. This action challenges authorities to confront the inequity of criminalizing poverty while demonstrating broad public support for change. FARE-FREE TRANSIT NOW!

One key aspect of political protest is civil disobedience, where individuals deliberately break laws they consider unjust to bring attention to a cause. Its effectiveness depends on public support, media coverage, and the willingness of authorities to engage in dialogue.BREAK UNJUST LAWS FOR JUSTICE

An extinction burst causes fading behavior to spike before vanishing. In U.S. politics, outrage surges as losing groups resist change. This reaction reflects a desperate grasp for past influence. The old white male ideal is fading, triggering backlash from those clinging to it.

A.R. Moxon’s passage highlights the inescapable consequences of aligning with harmful ideologies. Regardless of personal motivations, those who joined the Nazi party became complicit in its actions. History does not distinguish between justifications, only participation and its consequences.

Republicans are too chickenshit to hold town halls. Shocker. Here’s an idea: Democrats, hold town halls in Republican districts.

End corporate rule with campaign finance reform, strict lobbying bans, and election changes that break the two-party grip. Enforce term limits, crush corruption, and put power back in the hands of the people. Start local, build momentum, and turn small wins into a movement that can’t be ignored.

We once broke free from a king’s grip, and we’ll do it again. The U.S. hoards wealth and power, but we won’t kneel... we’ll fight, rise, and take back our future! Their rule ends where our revolution begins. Freedom isn’t given... it’s taken.

Burn the old world down, its towers built on stolen labor, its rulers fattened on our blood. They sip champagne while we starve, but the reckoning is here. No gods, no masters, only fire, fury, and the people rising. Tear down their palaces, seize what’s ours, and build something raw, real and free.

The measles outbreak in Texas is reminding me of the public letter Roald Dahl wrote about losing his daughter to measles in 1962, just before the vaccine was publicly available.

Excerpt from a public letter Roald Dahl wrote encouraging people to vaccinate their children.

Olivia, my eldest daughter, caught measles when she was seven years old. As the illness took its usual course I can remember reading to her often in bed and not feeling particularly alarmed about it. Then one morning, when she was well on the road to recovery, I was sitting on her bed showing her how to fashion little animals out of coloured pipe-cleaners, and when it came to her turn to make one herself, I noticed that her fingers and her mind were not working together and she couldn’t do anything.

“Are you feeling all right?” I asked her.

“I feel all sleepy,” she said.

In an hour, she was unconscious. In twelve hours she was dead.

The measles had turned into a terrible thing called measles encephalitis and there was nothing the doctors could do to save her. That was twenty-four years ago in 1962, but even now, if a child with measles happens to develop the same deadly reaction from measles as Olivia did, there would still be nothing the doctors could do to help her.

On the other hand, there is today something that parents can do to make sure that this sort of tragedy does not happen to a child of theirs. They can insist that their child is immunized against measles. I was unable to do that for Olivia in 1962 because in those days a reliable measles vaccine had not been discovered. Today a good and safe vaccine is available to every family and all you have to do is to ask your doctor to administer it.
