The Graduated Income Tax proposes lowering taxes for those earning less than $500,000 (97% of Coloradans), while raising taxes on income above $500,000. Asking the wealthy to pay their fair share would mean $2 billion+ in increased revenue and help make up for current budget shortfalls.
