Two runs to get in just over 10km to get the week over 70km. It wasn’t that long ago that 80km was a light week. Not sure what’s happening but I hope I can get it back. Plan is to keep slowly increasing. #running #runsky #dogsky

Another morning another run. Planned on 10km but wasn’t feeling it. I guess it’s 10km tomorrow to get past 70km week goal #dogsky #runsky #running

Back home with City Dog Jules who will be here for two weeks while our son does some business trips. She is officially wild and free! Not sure Ruby is happy about it 😅 #dogsky #running #runsky

My longest run ever with a dog on a leash 😅 Jules was pretty well done pulling away from me after 19km 🙄 but was still keen to go after birds and squirrels #dogsky #runsky #running

Yesterday and today’s morning runs. Yesterday was a cold wind and some spitting from the cloud cover. This morning was sunny and beautiful with crisp air and slippery frost underfoot. #running #husky #dogsky #runsky

Another city run with city dog Jules. She just loves to run. When we set out she grabs the leash on her mouth and pulls me to go faster! Did the same when a friend met me with coffee and switched to walking #dogsky #runsky #running

Started out as a run but I lacked energy and for the first time in quite awhile the grass wasn’t saturated with dew, so we made it a hike and took the valley trail. #runsky #running #dogsky #husky

Threw in some 200m sprints on this morning’s run. Otherwise the normal cruise around with pauses to daydream #runsky #running

Best time of year for running (when not raining). Cool air, warm sun. Some leaves are starting to turn though 🙁 Stopped to feed the neighbors horses some carrots but the Black one seemed more interested in nibbling my Marino wool shirt 😆 #runsky #running

Running in a relatively unfamiliar city makes it seem easy. New things to see distract from the slog. Seeing lots of other runners doing various paces with various expressions 😁 No one dared pass me. Rain hit with 5km to go but I survived 💦 #running #runsky

Did a little climb today in the foothills or the Rockies near Calgary. Idea was to be at the top for sunrise but the weather was cloud. Just have to try again another day! #hiking #running #runsky
