They all look like raptors to me. ~ Imani Piping Plovers and all shorebirds are terrified of kites and drones. They see them as raptors and will either not nest in an area where there are kites or drones, will come off their nests, or be distracted from real raptors. 1/2

Northern winters are our delight. Greenshank share their roost with a solitary but more numerous Redshank. The breeding range of both species occurring here is unknown, as is the case with with most waders that occur in the Gulf on migration. Oh for some satellite tags
