A new species of #snake for me yesterday at Heliconias Rainforest #CostaRica. The Side-striped Palm Pit Viper (Bothriechis lateralis) usually stays up higher in the canopy and at higher elevations, but maybe the windy weather brought it down low. So beautiful. #reptiles #snakes
