I live in Ponty too. I currently have a few lovely water features inside my house. You could have white water rafted through my garden in January 2021. We're allowed to be angry at Labour's lack of action on this. We all know that if this was happening in London, the money would be found to fix it.

Statement re flooding in South Wales Central ⬇️

My thoughts go out to all those impacted by flooding, and more than anything, I hope everyone impacted is safe.

After the devastating floods of 2020, Labour refused to hold an independent inquiry into flooding in Wales despite calling for one in England.

With flooding becoming more extreme and more frequent, we must make sure this time that lessons are learnt and greater support given to communities.

My team and I will be focused today and in the coming days in providing practical support to those impacted, but in the Senedd, I will continue to be a voice for flooded communities and continue to campaign on the issue.

But if Labour's complacent attitude on this doesn't change, Pontypridd is going to keep getting hit by this, over and over again. The Labour members of RCT council voted unanimously against an inquiry into flooding. Are we not allowed to challenge that?

Delyth and I saw him in Hyde Park last year, on a beautiful, sunny day. At the bit in Mary's Place where he sings "Let it rain" over and over again, it started pissing down, and ended very soon after he finished. It seems even God listens to The Boss.
