I can't stress enough how much the writers in my previous job loved me, the only programmer in the team that was able to talk to them and translate their needs into technical specs for tools they wanted. (And yes, I also studiedd creative writing in college, and use stuff I learned there for coding)

Even as a male presenting person, I once played a female character with the wrong GM... My "Charm" spells were completely useless as the GM decided SA was a correct interpretation of "become friendly"... I stood up, gathered my stuff, and left on the spot. (Also, no NPC spoke with "the girl"... :X )

I have played a boardgame named "Level 20!" You play tiny kobolds, and a lvl 19 fighter that only need a couple XP to level up come into your lair for "easy kills" to get to level 20, and you need to put traps and push him into piles of rotten fishes to humiliate him enough to make him run away.

That fourth one... weirdly, my parents thought that "as long it's in a book, our kid can read it at any age no problems"... They had a FULL collection of Stephen King books, that they let me read as a kid (around 10yo). Heck, my mother GAVE me "Flowers in the Attic" at like, 12? ... xD
