Found the boys making themselves comfy in the games room :) they are still learning that they are allowed to go wherever they like, so very proud of them for not shitting it and running back to their usual room as soon as i spotted them. However they did get up as soon as i opened the kitchen door..

Initially i thought surely someone makes a replacement face plate so you can put a generic stereo in. They do, but they cost like 400 quid for some reason (not including the new stereo) So 10 quid aliexpress aux mod, a little soldering, a drill and a butt load of superglue and whaddya know it works!

Had a lovely breakthrough with Munchkin. He is still much less sure about everything than Frank, but for the first time, unprompted, he got up and came to me for a fuss :) usually i go to him to show him that having a fuss is nice and I'm nice and everything is nice, but this time he chose it :D

Really enjoying the Final Fantasy Resonance demo. The battle system is excellent. Hope it shows Square that there is very much a desire for turn based RPGs. Now give me pre-rendered backgrounds and walkmeshes next!

Today that cats are even more chill. Frank is being very brave coming over to my desk when I'm sat at my chair. He even got picked up for a bit. Munchkin is giving free access to belly rubs and it's not even a trap! He is also lounging like an absolute boss, all spread out and comfy :)

So munchkin (black and white) wouldn't even let me touch him prior to today. After a couple hours here he's showing me his belly and purring away. Frank was super nervous when we arrived but he's already back to his normal fuss loving self :)

Been rewatching The Next Generation for the hundredth time I find it hard to put into words just how good that show was, and how much i miss episodic television. Not everything needs to be a 40 hour epic. Sometimes it's nice to just be told a story and for everything to be okay at the end of it.
