Found the boys making themselves comfy in the games room :) they are still learning that they are allowed to go wherever they like, so very proud of them for not shitting it and running back to their usual room as soon as i spotted them. However they did get up as soon as i opened the kitchen door..

Had a lovely breakthrough with Munchkin. He is still much less sure about everything than Frank, but for the first time, unprompted, he got up and came to me for a fuss :) usually i go to him to show him that having a fuss is nice and I'm nice and everything is nice, but this time he chose it :D

Really enjoying the Final Fantasy Resonance demo. The battle system is excellent. Hope it shows Square that there is very much a desire for turn based RPGs. Now give me pre-rendered backgrounds and walkmeshes next!

Today that cats are even more chill. Frank is being very brave coming over to my desk when I'm sat at my chair. He even got picked up for a bit. Munchkin is giving free access to belly rubs and it's not even a trap! He is also lounging like an absolute boss, all spread out and comfy :)

Been rewatching The Next Generation for the hundredth time I find it hard to put into words just how good that show was, and how much i miss episodic television. Not everything needs to be a 40 hour epic. Sometimes it's nice to just be told a story and for everything to be okay at the end of it.

Successful day. Did an oil change on the new car and a new oil filter. Started work on the rust but thats going to need several days when i know its going to be mostly dry... Also cats are coming home with us next weekend, all confirmed today :D

I think the air con on my "new" car just started working. So thats good.... maybe? Suggests that it might be the compressor thats the issue so if its on the blink itll be kore expensive to fix but on the other hand, i now have air con! (I think... the air might have just been cold on its own...)

Haha doing mandatory training for work. Just did a module on stress in the workplace. Apparently increased annual leave wouldnt help reduce my stress. Of course it wouldnt, its not like i was crazy stressed due to work recently then took two weeks off and it was the most relaxed ive been in years...
