Yeah, it's not entirely honest reporting in my opinion. It wasn't someone simply parked next to a BYD. It was a hacker who had full access inside the vehicle for two weeks so he could splice his own hardware under the dash. After all that he was able to... turn on the lights, wipers and the screen.

And Uruguay is still accelerating! The expected time for ICE to fall from 80% to 20% is now down to 2 years 3 months. At the start of the year it was around 3.5. Uruguay is the textbook example of how this should go everywhere.

Oha, hier gibts ein Interessantes Urteil vom LG München bzgl. roaming-kosten beim schnelladen. Das ist ja bisher ein einziger intransparenter Preisdschungel, zig ladekarten mit unterschiedlichen tarifen, teilweise 80ct/kWh und ad-hoc eigentlich fast immer teurer als per abo-ladekarte.

All (new) Tesla vehicles in the US now support AC bidirectional charging. With Tesla’s home battery (Powerwall) and charger no additional hardware is required (without the battery, a power switch is needed). It works when the grid is down as backup power, and in some states V2G with the grid.
