There's one at Angle Lake station and keep an eye on Star Lake! Though they're not right at the stations, drop boxes at Seattle Central College, Beacon Hill Library, and Uwajimaya in the CID are pretty close to stations, too.

In addition to checking VoteWA & getting ballot alerts it might help to remember you can print a replacement ballot if you need at kce.wiki/obmp & there are more than 90 official drop boxes across King County. Ballots returned to drop boxes come straight back to Elections HQ & are always on time.

I delivered my ballot to the Tukwila justice center drop box last night around dinner time. Less than 24 hours later, I got my ballot alert letting me know my signature was verified. ✨ You can sign up for ballot alerts at kce.wiki/BallotAlert

Did you know? You can use any official ballot drop box in Washington and local elections officials will forward your ballot to where it needs to be to get counted. Locations of drop boxes across King County are at kce.wiki/DropBox

This is Steve. Steve leads our drop box program at King County Elections, and encourages voters - especially after today - to return their ballots to one of more than 90 secure official ballot drop boxes around the county. When your ballot is in a drop box you know it’s on time. Kce.wiki/DropBox

Broadly speaking, drop boxes are installed intending to be permanent. Every official ballot drop box is fastened to concrete with giant screws - which is to say they're secure and difficult to remove. When a box is removed or moved, it could be for a variety of reasons, from safety to accessibility.

Kent voters! There’s a new official ballot drop box outside Kent Kangley Safeway. When the box was installed yesterday, I learned we can switch which side the door is on, so trained ballot pickup teams can access the box safely and securely.

King County voters, here are some key election dates for 2026.
King County Washington 2026 Election Dates

For the February Special Election, ballots were mailed on January 21. The last day to register online is February 2. Election Day is February 10.

For the April Special Election, ballots will be mailed on April 8. The last day to register online is April 20. Election Day is April 28.

For the August Primary, ballots will be mailed on July 15. The last day to register online is July 27. Election Day is August 4.

For the November General, ballots will be mailed on October 14. The last day to register online is October 26. Election Day is November 3.
