You're really giving them too much credit. They're just lying. At the end of the day these people see their children as their property. Property isn't allowed to do what it wants. It doesn't change gender, religion, or political beliefs. If you enable it to, you're stealing from them, the parent.

I was in middle school for 9/11 and was deeply affected by the tragedy. 25 years later here's what I have to say. 9/11 has been non-stop cynically used by the worst people in power to justify the worst policy and bigotry. The victims have had their memories consistently defiled for evil>>
