A friend of mine wanted me to draw his Goron character for the Zelda-themed Pathfinder campaign we're going to play together. (As with my Zora character's drawing, I did not do the background. It's a blurred screenshot of the fire temple.)

A Goron from the Legend of Zelda series. He has a rock unibrow, a rock goatee, and silver ore in his rocky hair mimicking the "Reed Richards" grey streaks. Flakes of silver are buried within the rocks all over his body. Around his neck is a monk necklace made of rocks. He wears white pants with a shiny, blue cloth tied around his waist, and large metal gauntlets, used for mining. A blue version of the Goron symbol, rotated 120 degrees adorns his belt and the tattoo on his stomach. He has Hylian text tattooed all over his body. The tattoo on his left arm reads "Goromoro Mightyrock" which is his name. The tattoo on his right arm reads "Northern Territories" which is where he's from. The tattoo on his side appears to be some kind of prayer or mantra, but I actually hid my name there. Little joke for you if you're reading this... I had thought about making his tattoos be the opening paragraph of Bee Movie, but decided against it because it was too long and I didn't want my friend to be mad if he found out. Oh also the Goron is missing a tooth.

A child in a floppy hood eats a pretzel and says with her mouth full, “… so, yeah, Xerra gave me the coat. I’ve been getting them to gimme free breads and stuff, too!”

Winn, nodding which a narrator box points to them and says, “asked xerra to feed her while they were gone.”

A child in a cape with big floppy ears thinks, “can they REALLY afford this? Their armor’s crap and they quit their dock job…” while beside her a person in not very good armor thinks, “what do kids like…? What did I like? What do I like…”

The kid turns, saying, “I’m good, actually.”

The person in armor looks dubious but says, “okay.”

Every once in a while I see people debating how long it should take to drink a potion and how it shouldn't be fast like is often hombrewed in TTRPGs. But I think this is usually due to a simple aesthetic dissonance. The aesthetic of a potion to so many is a near-fist-sized fancy bottle...

I design bosses with as much player interactivity as possible. Resistances? Weaknesses? Regen disabled by certain affects? Boss can't be fully killed until a haunt/puzzle is solved? Tbh Recall Knowledge is the best skill you can use in a boss fight when I'm DMing or designing it #Pathfinder2e

The power is mercifully, finally back on after 100 hours without it. I'm starting to restock my fridge now that the stores here are also starting to restock. Losing *everything* in my fridge and freezer hurt. My medical issues mean my food options are extremely limited and rather costly.
