As much as I live for character customization, I do think there's value in having a locked appearance for "origin" characters in games like BG3/DOS2. When I go to find art for BG3, the characters are iconic and immediately recognizable. DOS2 lets you customize them, so it always looks a little off.

Fighter in pf2e is kinda funny to me because it's already min/maxed by default. You wanna hit the most often and do the most damage (when accounting for extra Reactive strikes)? Cool play a fighter. Everything else? Well that's just fun choices.

Hey @paizo.com can we have a class archetype for Monk specializing in Monk Weapons where they gain access to some of the Magus' conflux spells? Dimensional Assault, Spinning Staff, etc would slap even if they don't get a spellstrike-like ability.

Hasbro could make a #dnd5e adventure where you go to Hogwarts and personally guard the bathrooms to determine whose allowed to use them and 5hEads would be like "bro it's just a fantasy it's not allegory! Death of the author!" I wish they were more honest and just said they don't really care.

It's no longer enough to give APs a tut-tut about continuing to play DnD. There are plenty of things that disqualify the Hasbro Ampersand but it's simply unacceptable to claim you support queer and marginalized people while still boosting the Brand.

TBH Kineticist Blasts becoming Strikes & Impulse Abilities becoming Spells would make them go from the least rules-interactive class to being the single most flexible class in the game. Their DC is lower than casters & their attack modifier is worse than martials... I think that's OK. #Pathfinder2e

I switched from roll20 to FoundryVTT 5 years ago. By not paying a subscription, I've saved $550 over that time. 😁 I really prefer single-purchase software that lets you also download fun mods to subscription services that paywall basic functionality.

Tbh I really like Lisa Frank style hyper-art. With the monsters I designed I felt pressure to go more realistic and with the pathfinder art style but I had the most fun when I... just ignored that and did what felt right for the creature.

I design bosses with as much player interactivity as possible. Resistances? Weaknesses? Regen disabled by certain affects? Boss can't be fully killed until a haunt/puzzle is solved? Tbh Recall Knowledge is the best skill you can use in a boss fight when I'm DMing or designing it #Pathfinder2e

tbh I think I prefer #DawnsburyDays interpretation of Assurance over #Pathfinder2e RAW. RAW = you choose to not roll, get 10 + proficiency. DD = You roll, but the minimum you can get is 10 + proficiency. The later is stronger (of course) but like... as a player I want a *chance* of success.
