It’s time for little haunts 👻🎃

Digital illustration by The Ghost Egg of three ghosts in a dark wood floating around three glowing jack-o-lanterns that depict a cat, a smiling face, and a moon and stars.

Today’s weather has that autumn vibe and while I never liked autumn much, today I find it calming (well, technically it's still summer 😅)

Otome burnout‘s still alive, so lately I’m playing different genres and it feels so refreshing ☺️ I wasn’t aware how much I have missed just running around and watching grass in RPG 😅

Reason why I'm barely interested in most new AAA games with open world. I'm buying them only on big discount when I need something to just run around in without much thinking

I've spent 1h trying to figure out what to do with too bright home menu after connecting Switch 2 to my TV. Nothing worked, but to my surprise game looked good. Maybe it just home screen issue ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Emotions of buying limited item of your fav small artist from Booth when you are European and must use a proxy. I've been stressed since yesterday 😣

I got my copy of Tomodachi Life and Splatoon Raiders 2 days ago. Unfortunately I didn't have time to play yet, but yesterday I transferred data from Switch to Switch 2. Today we have a family barbecue, but I should have some time after. So excited for Splatoon ☺️

I think AAA games are so focused on realistic graphics because it's the only thing the idiot businessmen who don't play games that are in charge can look at and understand.

Btw I came out with a similar method 2 years ago but 5 games rotation (it has grown up to 8 because I've pick one genre) so this time 3 games and different genres. Also I’ve decided that if game has routes, I can take it off from rotation after finishing route, if I feel like not continue right now

Elbereth | 32/100 | blanket monster @elbereth802.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

I’ve been watching some videos about methods of dealing with backlog. One I liked most suggested 3 pieces rotation by media (3 games, 3 books, etc.) and creating special space for it (and physical representation for digital), so here is my new backlog shelf. Octopus guards digital
