Sorted through the nice laminate that we scored yesterday. I need 20x4m - so 2 full lengths and 2 either end to make the length and stagger the joins. Got all the full lengths!! Found matching right and left hand tongues and made 20 bundles ready to grab before laying. There’s plenty! WOOP

People are lovely - I needed to get hold of a sheet of insulation so that I could lay ply on it to cut it down with my circular saw. I asked on FB - and got six men telling me why I was wrong and it wouldn’t work and I should PAY them to rescue me! Pal had one - I cut it up and got it home. YAY!

Pal saved the peppers from her LIDL boxes this week - she hates them! I love them - so 8 peppers sliced and into the dehydrator for four future meals of shashouska. I am closing in on 150 days of meals for three stashed in my pantry now

£22.00 of red grapes unclaimed from yesterdays Charity food distribution. So apparently you are able to waterbath can grapes to make grape juice - so that sounds like a project for the next hour or so this Sunday!! Off to find some jars xx

It’s been added to little by little all week - but here are the veggies for broccoli cheddar soup (about 25 bowls full) They have all been chopped and dehydrated and can be chucked in a pan with the seasonings for a stick to your ribs lunch in future. Deep Pantry prepping for the win!

Ok so this little beggar was off to the vet this morning for vaccines and worming and weigh in (4.3 kilos btw) Booked in for the snippety snip in three weeks … only we discovered the wee nut job has only got one distended testical. So instead of a quick job he could end up with a full op instead!

Doesn’t look very pretty - but tonight we canned up 13 jars of cat food for our ginger one! He’s actually looking really healthy on it - the vet calls him “well made” LOL. The winter fluff is also coming in thick and floofy! So - stinky job, but appreciated by the smallest member of the house

Grrr! Did all the research before my youngest went off to Uni - course, accommodation and support! Everything was going perfectly. Sadly one of his profs is an anti-vax, climate denying Trumper transphobe …. So looks like it’s going to be a long year!
