In 2024 my blue state registration, along with many others, was cancelled even though I had voted regularly for 4 years. I was born in another country and have an "ethnic" name - perhaps just a coincidence?

i’m American and I never shop at Home Depot because it has been a major supporter/enabler of Trump. The only positive outcome of Trump for me? I spend a lot less because so many of our corporate folk have supported him and I try to avoid as many as possible.

Trump personally is impervious. But the boycott did impact some Americans, like the bourbon industry. Even though it is small and niche, at least some of his voters learned how tariffs ACTUALLY work.

I'm 77. Ground beef HAS been under $2.00 a pound in my lifetime. i think even in the past 30 years. But I think he might be referring to Amazon who recently did a promotion advertising $1.99 ground beef. I don't know if they actually sold any.

My 1st trip to China in 1981 on “cultural exchange” I was amazed to see women in leadership positions, everyone still in blue uniforms. By 2005, most women I saw in meetings were young, slender and in tailored business suits “assisting” male leaders.
