Our elephant ear sprung up this new “limb”… I then learned that it is actually a flower bud! We have had it for 4 yrs and didn’t even know it *could* flower. Apparently this happens when the plant is mature, cosy & thriving. 😌🌱

Light spread to welcome our friends this weekend- husband’s sourdough crackers, homemade taiwanese scallion buns, upstate apples, and heirloom tomatoes. Also roasted zucchini just so we can say we had vegetables.

Today was the perfect cozy day. I had interesting work convos and had little breaks where I snacked on smol rice crackers. Then my husband and I took a walk to the botanical garden where I “ooo”ed at new roses and he learned about new birbs. Now I’m about to light a candle and read a book 😌.
