The fact that Music Diver players can all get excited about an oddly specific Japanese dish, in a way that a normal person would be confused, is kinda wholesome to see. Makes me glad that I'm sponsoring what is shaping up to be the first Music Diver major in the US coming up 👀👀💕💕

ATTENTION: We have made changes to the seeding and the difficulty curve, take a look at the changes and check to see if your seeding has changed. After player feedback and a second look at the players progress & recent scores, we increased the curve to match. This is now final, see you soon! 🌎🌍🌏

Why we are doing this: IT'S DDR WORLD on eAmuse!!! 🌍 We also want to show our love to the lower divisions, big tournaments like this sometimes may overlook the lower seeds, and the community is more than just the top players, and tournaments are for everyone. project-storm.com for info & rules!

Jumario (Eijiken) @eijiken.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

First question I've gotten that's a big one: Q: Do we have to submit scores using DDR World? A: No, you may submit scores from any version A20+ or later. The qualifiers were chosen specifically for this case, as those songs are accessible by the most common cabs in the wild.

021

Jumario (Eijiken) @eijiken.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

There will be a cutoff in the full rules when announced! We already have some form of a default song list, so it will be something that is available to all with reasonable notice.

120

Jumario (Eijiken) @eijiken.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

I share these not only for hype, but questions & oversight that we may not have thought of when developing this format. The tournament is not for me or anyone on staff, but for YOU the community, we want this to be an enjoyable and competitive experience for all. Excited for your response! (3/3)

030

Jumario (Eijiken) @eijiken.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Key points to look forward to: -Top 30 players qualify direct to day 2 double elim -Bottom 34 waterfall pools -2 players from pools will advance to Day 2 double elim -Expert & Challenge charts ONLY -2 extra qualifier songs for upper level players aiming for top 30 (2/3)

Hello all! We are a little under 90 days out from CEO Storm '26, apologies on the silence, we will be announcing rules and qualifiers soon, we are putting out the finishing touches and wanted to wait until we have seen the Plat cabs in the wild first to account for things. 🫡🫡 (1/3)

As always, shout out to the @ohioddr.com crew for letting once again be a part of a legendary event, I wish I could have spent more time hanging with folks during the tournament and catching more matches, but DRS was also one of the hypest tourneys I ever ran! Maybe I have one more in me...

I feel like no matter what you do when it comes to song pool, you can't stop players from either picking the song that they feel most comfortable playing at their peak, or going for broke with the wild pick. It's hard to make people pick songs in that middle zone when it gets really competitive
