Unprompted thought on healthcare reform: The conversation needs to move away from single payer and towards single provider (public health service). Insurance is a fundamentally broken model because it disincentivizes early care, which leads to worse outcomes and higher costs.

Most people in my political circles are not fans of our mayor, but I think it's helpful to hear him speak frankly to a substantive issue like this. Disagree as we might, there are things we agree on, and the media's constant sensationalizing of political differences across the city does not help.
