Updated the throw animation for big objects so it looks more like an actual throw & less like it's dragging on the ground. That little cast shadow helps a lot! #gbstudio #gameboy #retro

What made the jumps possible (fps wise) was changing how the car shadow works. To sell the jump gotta have a shadow. Shadows were baked into the Sprite tile so to make a jump you'd need a 2nd Sprite (for the shadow). BUT rendering the shadow ON the road instead == Free shadow \o/

It is for people who like to collect actual carts, slot em into the machine, and game - sure. A byproduct of that, and this is on me I realize, it focuses me on just playing a few games rather than swanning around in a ROM throve pondering my next move. Again, yes, that’s on me but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’d LOVE an Evercade Nexus (I have 3 games in Indie Heroes collections) but I just can’t afford it right now. Reviews look great! Hope it sells buckets. !:)
