Farley will pick up a soft toy and walk to the bedroom, see that you’re not coming, walk back, stare at you for a bit and then head back to the bedroom, incredulous that you’re not taking his sage advice to hit the hay.

Red bellied woodpecker gettin’ that seed. I could also get you 500 squirrel photos if you need them.

Overly deep fried turkey (wife wanted me to sit with the guests instead of outside with the turkey) also pretty passable with the application of enough gravy. Might also be true of a brick, though?
A deep-fried turkey fresh out of the oil. Frankly, a little over done.

Jupiter H. Christmas, this is a dumb move. Having just spent the weekend out in the woods cooking turkeys in make-shift ovens and gravity-fed rotisseries and pots of oil, IMHO Scouts is one of the best things that any kid can do.
A man with a gray beard wearing a white wool cap out in the woods prepares to lower a turkey into a pot containing hot oil using an overly-elaborate dipping mechanism. Several scouts have been removed from the picture, but they were there too.

I would love an AI that was as smart as my 11 pound dog. He knows when it’s time for bed, how to make me feel better, he loves to play fetch, all around a valuable part of my life.

I went all out on the cot, www.amazon.com/dp/B01GLGRVU8, until I ended up building an honest-to god twin bed with a real mattress that I could break down for summer camps. Loved everything about Scouting except trying to sleep in a tent.
A camp bed with a real twin mattress I built for our yearly trip to Scout camp at Yawgoog. Built out of wood I had around and a mattress from Costco.

Somebody said it was International Dog Day today (maybe just the Afternoon), so I must tell you that someone left the comfy blanket on the bay window (making it the Bay Window) and it's Farley's now.

Probably this, a hockey jersey that I won at a Hip show in Boston in January of 2015. It’s signed by the band, so I get to see Gord Downie’s signature every day. Got to meet the man himself that night too, that’s the picture I took of him that night on the top left.

Poutine should come from a chip wagon like this, except probably less nice. Their poutine was pretty good, though.
