I just found out the mariachi band was also the halftime show. They played "Sweet Home Chicago" as part of their set. Hell yeah.

My husband was invited to the game last night by an old friend. The Bears were celebrating Hispanic Heritage last night. They gave out flags that read "Bears vamos" to all the fans.

Man, I *loved* this movie when I was 15, but I watched it again recently and was kind of embarrassed that I was such a fan. It looks great, but there are some really odd editing choices, but moreso ACTING choices. I agree that Sadie Frost and Anthony Hopkins are the best parts of the film.

I'm honestly glad she wrote this. She shouldn't have had to. I saw that clip and thought "What if it's his birthday, and to treat him she's giving him a night off?" Because I know this is what I offer my husband on his birthday and Father's Day: relax, I'll handle the kids, do what you like.

I love that when people think of NJ, they think it's just a big garbage heap across the river from NYC. I lived in Lake Hopatcong as a kid in the early 80s, and it was lovely. Rolling hills, thick forests, gorgeous lakes.

My friend's husband went to college with Jared, and it was well-known that he could get you *any* kind of p0rn you wanted. Guys in the dorm thought it was cool at first, but got grossed out fast. Her husband said he wasn't surprised about the news. At all.
