Just heard that as of Sept. 1, VTA is 35 drivers short of what it needs to run its current bus schedules. Would not be shocked to learn that is why your issue happened Aug. 8 as no drivers were available for the shuttles.

VTA's response to it all has been numerous tells: * internal process for handling complex Customer Service matters needs work * communication to folks for emergencies after 7pm weekdays & weekends is lacking * a driver shortage few outside VTA know about More on that as I get more info.
