Interesting times with smart glasses. I am generally supportive of government regulation to protect privacy, but I suspect regulating cameras will likely become impossible with smart contact lenses, smart pens, pendants, shirt buttons, etc. It's anyone's guess where this tech will appear.

In May I retired from an Immersive Technology Manager at a college. We had 400 VR headsets (mostly Meta) and XR integrated into curricula in over 25 courses across multiple disciplines. But Meta failed miserably to help education scale with botched MDM ideas and a failure understand HigherEd :(
