I did both my undergrad and my masters' online. I loved both, but it was an isolated experience. Now, not only can schools add a synchronous component, but they can add an experiential element that can be synchronous or asynchronous. Online learning CAN BE experiential!

Does your school offer 3D tours of your campus? "XR-based virtual tours and interactive content can increase campus tour signups and applications by 10-30% (Eickhoff, 2017). Northern Arizona University's annual cost for a virtual tour was $13,000. Just one student covers the cost (Eickhoff, 2017)."

I have a bit of an obsession with scalability in virtual and augmented reality. The great thing about scaling a chicken (yes it's crossing the road) to 12 feet, is that a teacher and 4-6 students can walk right inside the chicken to look at the anatomy in detail.
