I think the alternative is changing the game plan. For literally years it’s contestable kicks until the last ten mins and it is horrible to watch and now very ineffective. It’s such a limited and limiting approach. Other teams are way ahead strategically. He’s gotta go imo

Disagree re: Ford. I don’t think he can turn England into the attacking force we need to be. Lots of 22 entries over the last few weeks, very little return. I love watching Mitchell, but he isn’t a great defender. Hence why we hide him.

I don’t think Ford and Steward are ever going to be effective if kick/chase isn’t working. They don’t have anything else. And Mitchell, Ford, Arndell, Steward is super weak (each in different ways) from a defensive standpoint. Disatrous selection imo
