The amount of marketing going into GTA 6 launch feels really gross for some reason. I can't put my finger on it, but why do you need to push it so hard? It's a legacy game with a massive built in fan base. If anything, the focus on marketing is making me think the game is going to be a letdown.

PSA to all the people de-googling: Google provides a service called Google Takeout where you can quickly and easily backup ALL your Google data from pictures, to maps, emails,contacts, etc. and will email you a link to download the files. I'm ~80-90% de-googled and this made it a lot easier.

Billionaires like sports for a number of reasons, but one of the major reasons is because they consider the brands (of the leagues and the teams) and the loyalty to said brands as nearly unbreakable. My rule. Max contracts are only allowed to be maximum of 15% of a teams cap sheet. Flatten the pay structure so it's not a bunch of have-nots and a couple stars. Be a league focused on teams. Teach our young players the value the team over the individual. Better society.

Some games don't age well unless you have the nostalgia built in. I think Oot is still one of the best games ever, but I 1st played it when it came out and I was like 11ish. It still hits for me. That being said, Ive gone to play "classics" that i'd missed years later and disliked many of them.

I run Rec sports leagues for a living. Most of our leagues are mixed-gender with no special rules. I'd say out of our sports, volleyball is the most likely rec sport where people start dating, then slow pitch softball. I just assume all the pickleball players are swingers, well maybe 50% of them.
