Venom and Jubilee are fine season 2 characters in a game that already has a lot of X-Men/Spidey representation.

The way Zeta Gundam tackles gender is Complicated™ but I do applaud it for how it handles Paptimus Scirocco as a villain. The way it so clearly shows how a man will abuse and manipulate the women around him under the guise of being a supportive feminist ally makes him feel so realistically gross

Screenshot from Zeta Gundam. Peptobismal Scoliosis saying, "I believe the ruler of Earth after the war will be a woman."

Umibozu comes close to being the anime equivalent of the 80s sitcom side character who overtakes the popularity of the lead.

It happened here as well as in Gunsmith Cats. That is two separate and independent sources. That means it’s real. That means you can do this once you’re swole enough. If you get shot by a gun and then flex your muscles but the bullets DON’T harmlessly pop out, then you simply weren’t buff enough yet

Mikumo Guynemer - Macross Delta Just started watching this series, which ups the ante on Macross's sci-fi meets idols formula by adding a full-on magical girl idol unit that works alongside the space pilots. #macross #sketches

Anyway, on day 1 of this Paramount-WBD merger they’ll be $90 billion in debt so they’ll have to shut down TV stations and movie studios etc. “Who needs Cartoon Network to exist if we already own Nickelodeon,” “pull the plug on new Babylon 5 & delist the old one; we already got Star Trek” type stuff.

As for the Tokyo Revengers characters, I get the idea that someone from an older delinquent series would be a better fit for CotW, but they aren't as well- known globally as like Kenshiro and wouldn't really reach a new audience. Closest would be a River City collab.

That would be healthier, but SC5 was blamed for the franchise's decline and even 3S faced a lot of criticism. And that was without Nintendo-sized influencer culture.
