My girlfriend made an unfinished film with Damo Suzuki when she was about 19/20 where his character erected a stone monument just outside of Horwich - can be seen as a site of note on google maps - then shot on the Isle of Jura with him. Me and my mate Alex by the stone a few days ago

Getting properly into this. Up there with the best Coil, Scott Walker, and Talk Talk. Plus features the astonishing combination of David Sylvian’s voice and Derek Bailey’s guitar playing, and some of Fennesz’s most stripped bare and beautiful work. Don’t know how I hadn’t heard this before
