Red Flags: Monetizing anti-tech without context of racism and misogyny. Pointing to good, skillful, or “quiet” work to silence critique. Need to move on from something that hasn't been addressed.

Tech is an accelerator, not the root. We must be radical. We must address the root. Anti-tech decontextualization is harmful. If racism and misogyny are not their expertise, what experts are they elevating?

Men (as construct) divided into Abusers M1, Complicit (knowingly or willfully ignorant) M2, and Non-complicit ME. Abusers and the complicit praise Docile, Admiring F1 W/QTI (perceived), give access to W/QTI who attack the targets F2, thank W/QTI who accept abuse (of self or others) F3, mark and isolate W/QTI who reject abuse (of self or others) FE. Non complicit men support the women who reject abuse and are marked and ignored by the other men, these are the equalists. Racial layers are complex and always relevant. Marked targets are often attacked by proxy. People can change to the equalist boxes with intentional visibility.

Boundaries / Refusal to address abuse;

Does good work / Don't evaluate that;

Pointing out gaslighting is always met with, no you’re gaslighting, which is why we have to turn our evaluation: thought, gut, context, power dynamics—back on.

Intent is not effect. People often believe they’re right when they’re not. It’s why we all need to re-learn evaluation.

What next? Follow and pay BIPOC women and queer voices. Especially ones that feel too intense to you. Listen to them.

It's not true. As I've told you, I've tried to obstruct misogynoir and transphobia and have years of receipts they won't look at. It's clear I can't convince people at this point, so I'm not going to engage. The press will make a plan forward and it clearly can't rely on Ang-NA genre at this point.

So much. Local Elders were volunteers and eager to talk about the design of the garden, so I learned so much about the intentionality of classical Chinese Garden design, of yin and yang and pace and guidance. It changed the way I look at space forever. Such joy. ❤️ Beaming some of it your way! ☀️
