Recently, I finished this book called the Dragon of Ynys by @minervacerridwen.bsky.social & I really enjoyed it! It includes a lot of queer characters, the story is very sweet, heartwarming & of course, Snap the dragon is absolutely perfect. It’s such a comforting little book that made me so happy 🐉

I don't know any of the details or anyone involved. But Smith's public HWA statement includes this which jumped out at me: "For a long time, I thought the responsible way to protect an organization was to handle its problems internally." It's a hard lesson that is learned over an over again.

Jason, the issue with this year’s Gen Con anthology is not that it was white-only authors. Quietly killing the book because it had no Black representation might have been an okay outcome. Please do me the curtesy and read this thread. This explains the danger that Emily was trying to call out. 1/
