Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Another fantastic delivery from @burningshed.com of the new #JethroTull bookset. Not heard this album before and am currently enjoying listening to the new 2026 mix. 151
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 09/07/2026Any Macca fans know anything about this? Is it a straight reissue or a remaster? Very tempted as my only copy is (bizarrely) from Yugoslavia... @stevenc63.bsky.social @parlogram.bsky.social 231
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Maybe my favourite extras of any of the Tull booksets are on War Child. Paradise Steakhouse, Good Godmother & Sealion II are particular highlights. I love the War Child II LP for the same reason. Any band that has this calibre of songs unreleased for so long has to be special #JethroJuly 230
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 03/07/2026I first saw Jethro Tull in 2006 having never really heard them before and I loved it. The next time was on the TAAB2 tour & again I thought it was fab. I think TAAB may be my favourite album of theirs. I was lucky enough to see Ian by the stage door after the show and he signed my cd #JethroJuly 130

Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 10/12/2025#adventsingles day 10. This is my favourite Rolling Stones track, without question. 050
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 09/12/2025Day 9 of #adventsingles and it's the brilliant new one from @thecoral.bsky.social 'Christmas on Coral Island' b/w 'She Died on Christmas Day' 050
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 09/12/2025Bob Dylan 'The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan' This contains the original tracklist before it was changed. Original copies of this album are incredibly rare & sell for thousands. This alas is not one of those but a recent Record Store Day reissue. 020
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 08/12/2025There's only one artist it could be for day 8 of #adventsingles. JWL Dr Winston O'Boogie Roll on John 160
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 07/12/2025Day 7 of #adventsingles is Phil Collins Going Back from the box set of the same name. 030
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 06/12/2025It's the turn of The Staves for day 6 on #adventsingles 020
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 05/12/2025Brian Wilson 'Smile' This is a holy grail record for me and one I've wanted for so long. It can go for ridiculous money so I resigned myself to the fact that, unless it got a reissue, I'd never own it. And then....just by chance I saw it online for a not so ridiculous price and now it's mine. 010
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 05/12/2025Day 5 of #adventsingles is The Carpet Crawlers by Genesis. This is from the German Rolling Stone magazine earlier this year with the remastered album version on side A and Love from The Shrine 75 on side B. 040
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 04/12/2025Day 4 of #adventsingles and this time it's The Who with My Generation 060
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 03/12/2025#adventsingles day 3 with The Goons Ying Tong Song b/w I'm Walking Backwards For Christmas 050
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 02/12/2025Day 2 of #adventsingles (yes I know it's technically an EP and not a single but, with songs as good as these, who cares?!) 1120
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 02/12/2025Missed day 1 of #adventsingles so will do 2 today to catch up. Up first is a single that arrived yesterday - The Beatles Free as a Bird & Real Love 2025 mixes. I seem to be in the minority as I really like the RL mix & found it quite emotional listening to it on this 7" in a way I didn't expect 1/2 160
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 29/11/2025I'm thinking about picking up this Dylan boxset. Question to anyone who has it - do you think it's worth getting or is it best to just stick with the real Albert Hall vinyl? 020

Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 21/11/2025There is something so magical about John and Paul singing together. When Paul first comes in on the "if I give my heart to you" line sends shivers. 000
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 08/11/2025Gomez 'Bring it On' I've wanted this on vinyl for ages so was really pleased to see it get reissued the other week. It was always a good sounding album (only ever had the CD). This has great separation which seems to open it up a bit more and give more clarity. Perfectly quiet press too 👍 000
Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 07/11/2025The Coral 'Magic and Medicine' This album will always remind me of the summer just after finishing A Levels. Glorious melodies and fantastic memories. @thecoral.bsky.social @jamesskelly.bsky.social 051

Ed Friz @eddesrecords.bsky.social · 03/11/2025Don't you just love it when you order a record online and pay a premium for postage only to have them ship it in the flimsest cardboard envelope they can find?! It's hardly surprising it arrived damaged. Guess that's what you get for ordering from the official #McCartney store. 100
