A green background with white text that reads: Joint Statement As Greens, we will always uphold universal human rights. We will never tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment. We will continue to stand in opposition to genocide, ethnic cleansing, apartheid and the illegal occupation. We will continue to call out the heinous crimes of the Netanyahu government. So it's GREEN for GO on the by-election campaign as I begin the long slog to win a place back on the District Council serving the community that I love. I have represented Rodborough on the District Council before and I am proud of my record in service to the Ward in that time.
Campaign leaflet featuring a picture of a man wearing glasses and a brown corduroy baseball cap. He has a grey beard, is wearing a blue jacket and is holding a green Green Party Rosette.

Overlaid on green on the right hand side of the image is the message: "VOTE ROBIN FOR RODBOROUGH Robin is ready to serve YOU on Stroud District Council. Vote for a community leader who puts people before politics.

ROBIN LAYFIELD - Tuesday October 13

Bluesky & the Fediverse aim for better social media, but for trans safety the Fedi has the edge. Communities set anti-transphobia rules, share blocklists & defederate from hate and governed by people who live it. Bluesky's centralized team can't match that nuance. Worth a look!

Green-led Stroud District Council is one of the largest council house builders in the whole of England, it has been revealed. We delivered 8 of then the other week in my ward; Wotton-under-Edge. stroud.social/objects/db22... #sdc #stroud #ukpol
Complex infographic but in summary: Stroud's 2025/26 housing starts mean that it is in the top 10 local authorities in England for house building. It is building more homes than every unitary authority built last year - higher than Birmingham, Merseyside, and Tyne and Wear - despite them having a combined population of 3.8 million people, compared with 126,000 in Stroud District.
