As much as I would love to build an infinite library of TTRPGs from across the world, my basement is finite in size as is my budget. It makes me sad that I have to start being choosey where I send my money. But, also happy knowing there are so many people out there living their truth.

It is interesting to start to see how I like to write these reviews evolve. I am trying to make them informative but also politely critical when it is warranted. I am a big fan of being polite and kind to everyone, regardless of medium. A goal of mine is to die with lots of friends and no enemies.

As much as I would have liked to pursue academics as a career seeing data like this after the fact makes me, really, really glad I chose another path to go down. It does make me sad for everyone that did follow their callings though.

I have had similar experiences trying to GM climatic scenes in Pathfinder 1E / 2E. It can get pretty bonkers at times despite me trying to reign things in a little bit.

Personally I find that games do their best when the sum of their components are geared towards a handful of themes and tones, rather then try and be everything for everyone. Mothership, Delta Green, Heart, Spire, etc., are all good examples of this in practice.
