Life update, for those who don't follow me on Twitter: shit's still kinda fucked, but I'm in a much better place than I was this time last year. Because this time I am filled with an uncompromising motivation to get shit in order.

Man, looking back on this about a year later is pretty funny.

Like, I'm feeling a lot of things, and pride is not one of them.

Zay. @echoimagine.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

There's a lot of excitement in the comments and stuff, and I've had people try it and tell me they're having a blast with it, and that I should feel proud of myself and all that shit... but I don't.

So, I pushed out a big update for Equinox. An update that essentially fills out just about everything that wasn't touched in 2.5... and I think the predominant emotion I'm feeling right now is exasperation.

KH4 might've been a no-show, but I've won anyway.

Zay. @echoimagine.bsky.social · 12/02/2025

If Kingdom Hearts IV gets re-revealed at the State of Play - and that is a mighty big if - then I will share something about the last Equinox form that hasn't been publicly showcased yet.

So, hear me out. I feel like the film Thunderbolts* may be for Bucky Barnes in the MCU what Dream Drop Distance was for Riku in KH.

Zay. @echoimagine.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

Well. Things are moving again, on the modding front. I think I might actually see a release for Equinox 3.0 in the near future. (As opposed to a big question mark.)

Not gonna ask for people to sub to my Patreon, because there's not a whole lot going on there currently. But if you are so inclined to support me anyway, then I won't stop you. patreon.com/zaymods

Hate to do this, but I really need help, guys. The reserves I had from my last semester at school have completely run out, and I need money for food and gas. At least enough to get me through a few weeks.

I mean, okay. Sure, whatever. If they wanna ignore those games and act like they don't exist, then that's their prerogative. I may not get it... but I don't care enough to debate these people.

Zay. @echoimagine.bsky.social · 27/01/2025

Okay, maybe there will be a trailer. But it won't be a long one.

010

Zay. @echoimagine.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

I'm gonna be honest, I'm so tired from working on this update that I think I'm just gonna casually drop it when it's done. No trailer, no big fanfare. Just a little "here you go, hope you enjoy it."

Feel like today's a good day for me to mention how much I love and respect Tetsuya Nomura. Seriously, it fascinates me to this day how he perceives things and I will take every bit of content that is just him explaining his creative process and/or mindset regarding his works.

This is awesome, dude. I wonder if the Samurai Nobodies will be included in this mod.

All this Clive Tekken content is kinda making me want to give Tekken a try... but fighting games aren't really my forte, so I feel like it'd be kind of a waste of money. For me, anyway.
