In the last session of this #D&D campaign, a new character was introduced to the party. Then, everyone proceeded to bully Humdinger into the ground (It's ok, because it was funny). 💔

Comic of my D&D character Humdinger, a small green dragon person with horns, a back pack and emo bangs. 6 people look down at an imaginary D&D board and a small, simplified Humdinger looks up at them as they discuss character acting. "Who is the "ugliest" one in the party? For character acting - " 3 people reply "Humdinger" "Yeah Humdinger" simultaneously while the other two watch silently, one smiling (the DM). The characters interact - a feathered lizard person wakes up to see Humdinger poking them with his foot. They scream and Humdinger hides in a shadowy corner. Later, The lizard person points at them "That one over there! What's your name?" Humdinger comes out of the shadow, with a pitiful smile, pointing at themselves with a thumb, "...My name is Humdinger! That was my name before it was cool, thouhg." An elf-like person with long bangs and a cowel-neck shirt replies, "When was that ever cool." while the lizard is already looking away, disinterested immediately after asking her question. Humdinger returns to his shadow corner to sulk.

Quince was invited to a picnic, he's so excited! Maybe he’ll make a friend? Who wouldn’t want expired sardines on moldy bread, paired with a fresh glug of drain water infused with lightly used lemons, pre-tasted tea leaves, and old coffee grinds! He just hopes he prepared enough for everyone…🐟

Latest adventures of Humdinger, where he lets someone he thinks is really annoying ride on his backpack, he is nice to them because they seem unwell, and then they fall unconscious due to a mysterious ailment. This was supposed to be posted before the last Humdinger update. My bad ~ 😗

Last - adult Humdinger. His horns are bigger, fatter, and sharper. His ears are smaller and hang down in emotion. 2 small teeth, and 2 large tusk-like fangs, protrude from his upper lip. His bandana fits around his neck normally. He is wearing a fat backpack that straps around his chest. He is applying an iridescent poison to a dagger in his hands, he stares at it intensely, he looks angry and focused. His tail is long and lying limply on the ground. His claws are sharp. He is a darker, yellowish green. His hair has grown out and messy bangs fall into his face. At all ages his nose is snubbed and pug-like. He has large circular/patch-like scales on his cheeks (like Pikachu), shoulders, wrists, and knees.

I finished half an art trade with @piichykeen.bsky.social recently! Had a blast just letting loose and stepping out of my comfort zone at the same time 💗

I don’t think I miss designing foo cats but I miss making designs, I had the itch, So here is a hypothetical character I created the other day, who may or may not be used, but at least she is out of my brain. Enjoy this random kitty 🐱

Ruby, a reddish brown female cat with orange amber eyes, her stripes are darker than her base color, wavy with a thick swirl on her flank, her belly is a warm white, so is her paws, tip of tail, chest, neck, her face around her eyes, nose, and inner ear. The ridge of her nose and chin are a brighter reddish brown, so are her cheek tips, ear tips, and part of her tail. Her tail is short and stubby. She has many whiskers. She is fluffy but her fur is short. Her face is wide and triangular. She has an army green collar with a golden chain with 3 golden rings dangling between a gap in the collar, creating a low hanging necklace effect. She is sitting down looking content.

Spent all morning getting these ideas out of my head, it was worth it. More character exploration stuff that will probably only be hinted at otherwise. Stuff he thinks he might remember. Stuff that warped him in his formative years. Stuff that makes him Quince.

Quince the stray as a new born kitten with his forgotten family. As a 6-10 month old stray. At a vet office as a stay having an enlightening experience. As a stray again on the street older and with attachment to medical supplies.

This beast is my first drawing for 2025! I started it mid December. It’s Humdinger but Humbigger (what he looks like in his heart 💚)

Sorry it sorta cuts off, these are rough, were made right off the dome, I might finish them one day, or use them as chapter 0 or opening for chapter 1 somehow. idk! I didn't know what to write for that last bubble lol but I think it was going to continue " - of our fragile existence" or something.

A very rough thumbnail/sketch. "Resting one's nose against the mycelium growing out from the base of the trunk causes the spirit to project itself as a ghost on the great crown, shaped by the Well's own light. Meeting foos from the otherside of the Well this way has become a great convenience, and waking from this state is just as waking up from a dreamful sleep. This is how we know, at least one poor soul learned this lesson the hard way." A group of cats gather around the roots of the mushroom. One touches its nose to the root and falls asleep. On top of the mushroom, a larger group of cats appear, all seemingly doing the same thing - sleeping against the roots. They congregate and socialize here as a from of long-distance communication. Zooming in, some of them stare down into the glowing flesh of the mushroom, at a solid organic skeleton embedded within.

It's speculated they may have even been of the 'first generation', one of the stitched-ones, whose body did not yet know harmony with its inner-shape. When The Well had only just manifested in this land - and new dangers were fresh for discovery." The owl and the bird (a duck) fly together toward the light of the mushroom. Illustrated is a stylized depiction of generations of cats, facing off with one who looks unlike any of them, who looks "Frankensteined" together complete with wings and a swirling pattern on its rib cage, separated from the others by a stitch through time (symbolically). Blow them is the image of the mushroom, apparently being newly formed by energy flowing in from all directions.

The ghost stares at their body where it lays, unable to wake up. The ghost stares up at the moon, other flying cats look at them from a safe distance.

(Text edited from original) The owl flies in front of the duck, putting itself between it and the mushroom. They fly away. A close up of the skeleton's skull. The owl and the duck are far away from the mushroom when a ghost appears on top to watch them leave - implied to be the same ghost from the story of the one who died on top of the mushroom (unconfirmed/non-cannon atm). The ghost is a cat with wings. Trees spread far and wide in the distance, reflecting the light from the mushroom.

I made a thread of my 2nd project if you wanna look. Mostly planned, pages of lore/world building. I like to think of it like Noah's Ark, but with mutant cats and animals only exist as memories or super powers. Here are test roughs about their life source being a 'No-Fly-Zone'. Note the ALTs. I’m cheating and I’m c/ping them, but a different project I have IS drawing the different groups on their own, as they are at the start of the story. That’s still a lot but a bit more manageable hahah. Maybe when I’m done with those I can smash them together as an even bigger image. Here is a wip!

I have a plethora of OCs that act as background and supporting cast I could talk about for days but I would be heading into true-spoiler territory. I'll end here with Leap the Frog and Pang the Penguin - who are Echo's peers in her eventual chosen field of interest, and Fleek the Fox -Equis's rival.

Howzer the Owl, and Skio the Squirrel. Howzer was present when Echo was found abandoned as a kit. Skio was selected as her surrogate mother. Due to prior events, Skio acts coldly toward Echo. Howzer on the other hand, seems more than excited to be a role model and major player in Echo's life.

He wasn’t the smartest, strongest, or most skilled, but there was one thing he could do very well - be a role model. Looking at her, he felt a blooming pride. Yes, he decided, he’d support the young one no matter what. He would, at least, do his very best. Who else did she have?

In that moment she finally understood the depth of her depravity, seeing the undoing of her impulsive attempt at revenge, “I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me...” She lied, grateful to not get her way. She knew all too well the shape of her own bitter heart.

Phoe the Peacock, Leom the Lion. Phoe is the Leader of the South and Leom is his second in command. They lead alongside Eden and her second in command, Bryson the Bison. The two sides go not often agree with each others methods, but do share a common goal - which is to do what is best for The Keep.
