Sorry for not alt texting the previous images, sometimes the app reminds me - like I have it set to do - and other times it doesn’t and I get too excited and submit too fast. Here are the last of the roughs (+ one edit) I’m adding to chapter 1. Now to get into the weeds with it. Wish me luck! 🍀

Gillie flushes with anger and leaps across the couch to grab Talita’s shirt sleeve. SFX: GRAB Talita stops walking and looks back at her in shock. Gillie is furious, ears flattened back, short white tail bristling. Gillie: (ASL) Do you want my help with sign or not!?

Gillie: (ASL) I'm not going to keep offering if you're gonna walk out every time! You’re being so fucking rude! Talita, hunched on all sixes, cringes away from Gillie's anger as her face begins to bristle with shame. Gillie: (ASL) If you don’t want to sign, I won’t force you. But I hate relying on this buggy app to talk to you! Idrisah awkwardly stands behind the couch with her bowl of fried crickets, politely looking away from the confrontation with a nervous sweat breaking out on her forehead. Gillie: (ASL) I don’t get it!! You’ve clearly gone out of your way to learn comprehension. Is this a pity project that you’re too bored with to finish?! Gillie slumps on down on the arm of the couch, looking at her phone as she waits for Talita to reply. Talita sits, quietly staring at her with an expression of devastation. Gillie: (ASL) Why?? Gillie looks back to her phone angrily. Idrisah walks closer, looking apologetically between Gillie and Idrisah. Idrisah: Talita, it's a language that was never intended for your body. We won't judge you if you struggle to pick it up. Talita: I’m going to judge myself. Gillie sneers. Gillie: (ASL) For what!? Not being human? Talita cringes as if she'd been struck. She makes an admission as heavy as it is small. Talita: Yes.

I finished half an art trade with @piichykeen.bsky.social recently! Had a blast just letting loose and stepping out of my comfort zone at the same time 💗

A mysterious woman in ornamental, religious-esque (catholic?) styled clothing, donning a veil, tight fitting dress/uniform, and claw-tipped gloves, she brandishes her right hand stoically. Behind her is a canine-like beast the size of a large bear, its eyes are shielded with a shaggy forelock, a messy mane covers its neck into its back, at the base of its throat is a secondary, gaping mouth, and the bottom jaw of its dog-like muzzle is split into two separate functional jaws with their own tongues, its mouths are wide open, its two tongues are curling. A large hand-like paw hovers over the woman's hand ominously, with massive claws. The drawing is pencil textured with a green tint, very sketchy with some areas more refined/detailed. The woman is much darker and contrasted against the paler beast behind her, she is outlined in white.

Humdinger at 3 different ages! First his very abrupt hatching, next a glimpse into his childhood, and finally the boy present day! Sorry, not boy - man. 💚 I'm very proud of this one and the color pencil look I tried here! What do you think? Also, this is my 666th post. What could it mean 💀

Humdinger, small green dragon person with emo bangs and a red bandana, at three different ages. Starting from left to right - small infant Humdinger hatching from a scaly green egg. His eyes are puffy and still closed, one of his feet sticks out while his hands are curled up by his face. His ears are long and floppy and he only has two nubs for horns on the top of his head. The egg looks scorched on one side and the shell is smoking. Egg shells are on the ground near him as well as liquid from the egg. Next - a very youthful looking Humdinger. He has a few soft hairs on the top of his head. His bandana is so big it is practically a shirt/poncho. He has four small horns now, his smaller horns are just starting to come in. His ears are big but perky. His small wings are free. His tail is cutely curled. He is holding a snake he found too tightly around its neck. He looks innocent and proud of what he found, ignorant he is hurting the snake. He has one snaggle tooth only just barely poking out of his lips. He is pale green, softly colored. Last - adult Humdinger. His horns are bigger, fatter, and sharper. His ears are smaller and hang down in emotion. 2 small teeth, and 2 large tusk-like fangs, protrude from his upper lip. His bandana fits around his neck normally. He is wearing a fat backpack that straps around his chest. He is applying an iridescent poison to a dagger in his hands, he stares at it intensely, he looks angry and focused. His tail is long and lying limply on the ground. His claws are sharp. He is a darker, yellowish green. His hair has grown out and messy bangs fall into his face. At all ages his nose is snubbed and pug-like. He has large circular/patch-like scales on his cheeks (like Pikachu), shoulders, wrists, and knees.

Latest adventures of Humdinger, where he lets someone he thinks is really annoying ride on his backpack, he is nice to them because they seem unwell, and then they fall unconscious due to a mysterious ailment. This was supposed to be posted before the last Humdinger update. My bad ~ 😗

Humdinger falling in love with a familiar looking doll, it gives him cozy feelings, he cam almost remember why! A weary bird rids his backpack. Humdinger realizing the bird on his backpack is no longer responding to him, he pokes them gently, they are seemingly unconscious. Humdinger is a small green and red dragon humanoid with a backpack, emo bangs, horns and a long thin tail. The bird looks like a hawk.

Quince was invited to a picnic, he's so excited! Maybe he’ll make a friend? Who wouldn’t want expired sardines on moldy bread, paired with a fresh glug of drain water infused with lightly used lemons, pre-tasted tea leaves, and old coffee grinds! He just hopes he prepared enough for everyone…🐟

A sickly looking black cat with red crust and bandages wearing a top had, presenting a metal tray (trashcan lid?) with half a loaf of sliced moldy bread, 4 slices of bread topped with sardines, fish bones, a lemon, a sardine can filled with fish, and a coffee pot filled with old lemons, leaves, coffee grinds, and water. In the last session of this #D&D campaign, a new character was introduced to the party. Then, everyone proceeded to bully Humdinger into the ground (It's ok, because it was funny). 💔

Comic of my D&D character Humdinger, a small green dragon person with horns, a back pack and emo bangs. 6 people look down at an imaginary D&D board and a small, simplified Humdinger looks up at them as they discuss character acting. "Who is the "ugliest" one in the party? For character acting - " 3 people reply "Humdinger" "Yeah Humdinger" simultaneously while the other two watch silently, one smiling (the DM). The characters interact - a feathered lizard person wakes up to see Humdinger poking them with his foot. They scream and Humdinger hides in a shadowy corner. Later, The lizard person points at them "That one over there! What's your name?" Humdinger comes out of the shadow, with a pitiful smile, pointing at themselves with a thumb, "...My name is Humdinger! That was my name before it was cool, thouhg." An elf-like person with long bangs and a cowel-neck shirt replies, "When was that ever cool." while the lizard is already looking away, disinterested immediately after asking her question. Humdinger returns to his shadow corner to sulk.
