My main question was why a game that has repeatedly thrown players into comas or psychosis is allowed to still go on even after the comas and psychosis continue to happen, but it's not too farfetched considering all that's happened over recent years.

Reading through an anthology of 365 very short short horror stories from 1998. Many are bland and predictable, but this one about a guy interviewing Count Dracula on Christmas managed to get a groan out of me when I got the "very old trauma" joke. That has to count for something.

An engineering textbook in Mouthwashing. The text is just legible enough to read the artist talking about their career, fancy honey, their struggles with math, and a reminder to be nice to service industry workers.

Now here, observe, Cool diagrams that vaguely resemble stuff you'd
find in some math book. Calculus, perhaps? Physics, possibly. I dropped out of engineering school so I'm not qualified to say. Look at the (dork)?, the artist, writing (nonsense)? text to fill these pages.

Here's text sample number two. This is just a PSA to be kind to service industry workers. They have it rough, and I would know, I did it before ???? like ????. Thank you. I trust that you, who are playing this gamne and will never actually read these little text blurbs are a good person and don't need to be told to be a decent person. I'm sure you already are. Well, anyway, here's another math thing. this page needs more graphics.

Isn't math wonderful? No. No it isn't. That's why I'm an artist, and not
an engineer. I wasn't too good at any of that. It is good, though,
conceptually. I'm just a hater because my brain can't compute numbers very well. Just never ???? to make sense. So the world is lucky I decided to make a career change, just in case I crossed some wrong wires or something. Swansea's got it, though. He's a good engineer. Got the brains for it. Daisuke maybe not so much. But don't tell him that.

It starts out with Mickey being mouse sized, but then he's suddenly able to ride a full size horse. One thing to note is that Donald Duck is mentioned, but this is before his 1934 debut, so it's referring to that yellow duck.

I was interested in the "Adventures of Mickey Mouse" book you see on Mickeyjunk Mountain in Epic Mickey, and luckily my mom had a 1978 reprint of the first three books from the 1930s. The first one from 1931 oddly still treats Mickey as an actual mouse living in a small nest under a barn.
