Parks - Hyde Park and Richmond Park. Kew Gardens isn't a park, but you should visit and is very close to Richmond Park. Museums - V&A, British Museum, Imperial War Museum, Natural History, Science Museum and SO SO SO many more. National Portrait Gallery, Tate Gallery also worth visit. WEST END TOO

walk through Greenwich Naval College which is beautiful itself, walk up to Greenwich Observatory, look back at a gorgeous view of London, go round the observatory and then go back down the hill and enjoy the National Maritime Museum. Usually would recommend Neasden Temple but seems closed atm.

SO much to see and do, 5 days won't even scratch the surface! What I'll recommend usually depends on the person and where they're from, but one place I'll always recommend is Greenwich Observatory. You can do a boat trip from Westminster to Greenwich and see many of the sights of London, then...

I come back to this tumblr post again and again

Tumblr post by sunderwight: The current AI situation is like if the people who were pushing NFTs had successfully gotten everyone to start referring to any and all digital transactions as an NFT, thus allowing them to pretend that things like online shopping, downloadable video games, bank transfers, etc were closely related to convincing middle-aged would-be techies to invest serious money in ugly digital paintings, and hold the former examples up in defense of the latter any time someone pointed out that the whole NFT thing was a racket. What do you mean NFTs are bad, don't you want disabled people to be able to use their phones to have medication delivered to their doorstep? Wow. Horrible of you, really.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

This interview in Vanity Fair came out in 2010, and this exchange from it has lived rent-free in my head ever since.

So listen, I’m not sure how to broach this subject. There’s a lot of half-naked men in Jackass, and a lot of anal play and nipple torture and testicle touching. Is it possible that Jackass is at least a smidge gay?

Knoxville: I’m offended you just said a smidge!

It’s more than a smidge?

Knoxville: We’re over here sitting on rainbows and you say a smidge.

You’re a gay pride parade waiting to happen?

Knoxville: We’re a gay pride parade that’s happening! And in 3-D!

It’s not just homoerotic tension?

Knoxville: No, man, it’s all about release with us.

Steve-O: We always thought it was funny to force a heterosexual MTV generation to deal with all of our thongs and homoerotic humor. In many ways, all our gay humor has been a humanitarian attack against homophobia. We’ve been trying to rid the world of homophobia for years, and I think gay people really dig it too.

This was way too easy. I had all of these questions designed to lure you into admitting your subconscious desire to fuck each other. But apparently you’re not suppressing anything.

Knoxville: Suppressing?! Wait till I tell the guys you said suppressing! We’re not suppressing anything! We’re over here sitting on dicks!

1. London Underground station flooding has reportedly been reduced by around 90% thanks to a group of engineers: beavers. After conservationists reintroduced a family of beavers into a nearby city park, the animals built dams and restored wetlands that now absorb and slow floodwater naturally.
