iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

We'll see. Didn't plug it in yet. These were destined to become landfill, so I'm not sure how deep they were actually factory reset. It's a pure coincidence I managed to get it to begin with, tbh. I'll probably order a cable to get it going, but that'll take another 2+ business days to arrive. :(

I am actually blessed: they got some Base Station 2.0s in stock. Immediately ordered three to cover my room in them. I'm really hyped to play VR again.

One of them seems to constantly lose tracking, and no matter what I've tried so far, it's been doing the same thing I've read that people have this issue due to USB controllers, but even isolated to a controller, I had zero luck It's a shame, as I loved playing VR games, but I currently cannot :(

The quality difference from going from the OG Vive to the Index is gonna be massive. Sadly, my Base Station 1.0s are kicking the bucket, and even though they put them on sale, there still isn't any stock. I was incredibly ready to buy 2, maybe even 3 of them to replace my current setup, but alas.

As someone, who is a relatively fresh user of macOS, what are some nice, can't-live-without utilities you got? I'm thinking about things like Hidden Bar for example. I'm missing some couple of stuff from here and there, and I'd like to make this environment my own.

I updated to Android 17 and almost all my widgets are gone. I search it up, and see this. A bug report from February. Pushed to stable in June. Are we deadass, Google? issuetracker.google.com/issues/4881…

as a Pixel 7 owner, I can agree with Android 15 being amazing context menus are... fine? don't have much reference, nor do I use them much anyways, but yeah my dream phone right now would probably be the Pixel 9 Pro Fold tbh, it's really nice. but I'm probably sticking around with the 7 until EOL

That's partly why I migrated over to Mastodon, but the userbase just isn't the same so it's kinda ass to figure out where you'd wanna go atm, there's no perfect option :( (I gotta admit it though, having my own Mastodon / Sharkey server is pretty cool and I love the experience)

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2
