my ideal speedrun board is the whiteboard easel I kept beside my desk back in 2017 when I tried running Pokemon Alpha Sapphire for the first time and needed to write down whether my Mudkip had bad/good/great attacking stats wait leaderboards? ohhhhhhhhh

Really happy with this one! Reworked my notes to be way more detailed/streamlined and stuck to my game plans the whole run. Probably not done yet, even if I don't PB again in the future - want to get this route optimized before I'm good to leave ZA behind for other stuff.

so about this - my car got totaled literally the week I got back from SGDQ so that's what I've been dealing with for the last few weeks it is not fun!!! once Significant Financial Decisions are made I'll get right on this 🙃

haven't been streaming much recently and tbh I dunno what I want to do next with speedrunning. but after this SGDQ I have an urge to get more involved with stuff, meet new people and communities, do more supporting - stuff like that. which kinda aligns with my current set of personal goals

Dynam @dynammm.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

was worried that I'd be rusty at audio since missing AGDQ26, but this was the most fun I've had so far in the role! between the crowd going wild with WHEEE, Twitch chat getting flooded with dance emotes when a major bop dropped, or quotes spammed during silly block - everything gave me life

had multiple naps and food and still somewhat sluggish so you get Dynam's wordslop SGDQ overview today there were some personal factors when attending prior GDQs that caused me to not be fully present, but this time I was 100% able to enjoy my time spent with everyone - great event

(the last post was going to be the last one but felt the need to say that I feel very lucky to have found and be a part of communities that uplift queer folks. looking forward to seeing one of those next week at SGDQ ❤️)

040

Dynam @dynammm.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

All to say, I don't think any two queer journeys will look the same, which makes supporting your local enby, your trans friend, the one over there peeking out of the closet that much more important. idk where I was going with this, but hope some of it made sense. Happy Pride, trans rights 🏳️‍⚧️ (6/x)

130

Dynam @dynammm.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

My mind's been sitting in gender ambiguity for awhile, and while I'm "fine" with that currently, I'm also open to continue trying things until I feel like I can settle into something more concrete. My brain won't let me lock in anything until I've given it a shot (pun completely unintended). (5/x)

100

Dynam @dynammm.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Maybe I'm in denial about calling myself trans (which I *just* said I'm not cis but that's another can of worms that gets into comparing lived experiences), maybe not, but either way I think that's alright. (4/x)

100

Dynam @dynammm.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

All I've really figured out regarding gender is that I don't vibe with being masc. Could I be trans(femme)? Maybe. Have I thought about changing my name? Definitely. Would I stab myself with estrogen to try it out? Sure, why not. Voice training? Totally on the table with the rest. (3/x)

110

Dynam @dynammm.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

My brain operates very logically and scientific-methody, and through some "experiments" post-pandemic I figured out I was bi, kick-starting my queer journey. I say this because despite the labels I've currently set for myself (bi, enby, aro) I'm still in the figuring-it-out soup (2/x)

110

Dynam @dynammm.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Obligatory end of Pride month musings: saw a repost that said (paraphrasing) "idk who needs to hear this but cis people don't spend a lot of time thinking about if they're trans" and each time I see it posted somewhere it's very re-validating to me that I'm definitely not cis (1/x)

Dynam @dynammm.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

I'd consider myself very average at VGC considering I started in Champions, but after learning the basics I fell in love with the teambuilding process - it's so much fun! Landed on Mega Pyroar on day 1 and it's been a blast to iterate on it and see it win a tournament!

Discord message from me:
ok hyper sun offense with trick room is going really hard
if I had a nickel for each time I've set manual sun against Pelipper/Swampert and OHKO'd their Swampert with Solar Beam I'd have two nickels
