Huge fan of a game called Go. Also known as Baduk and Weiqi. Anyone else play? I rarely get a chance to play but an old friend of mine came out for some Sunday pub shenanigans

I love DJing and raves/club nights but I LOATHE crawling home in wee hours of the morning and losing the next day. So I'm starting up an early finishing club night, finishes at 10pm. Doing the first one next Saturday in Falmouth with a 360 degree audience. Already sold about 450 tickets for it

I adore this idea and might explore it for a show. Would name my tickets as follows: £1 - I'm skint but would love to come £5 - Paying the best I can £10 - My wages aren't great £15 - general admission £20 - I don't sweat when the council tax bill arrives.

15 year old me had his mind blown. Went to York recently and was in the HMV there and checked to see if my album was there. Blew my tiny mind.

When I joined Bluesky asked for some interests. I hit pets cause who doesn't love doggos but clearly this is mostly a cat lovers platform. And whilst they can be cute they are also evil fluff demons who can get very sharp and pointy. Need more doggos on my feed 🐕

New cool gadget I'm obsessed with for capturing content for social media for my band. They're Meta Ray-Ban glasses. The vid and pic quality is pretty good but Bluesky seems to compress vids quite a bit

Introduction to anyone discovering me for the first time. I'm in a 12 piece band called Dutty Moonshine Big Band. We do dance music ranging from hard and aggressive to Jazzy vibes. We cover it all basically. Shows are high energy and 1st timer watcher become fans straight away.

My #20 album of 2023 was VILLAIN by Dutty Moonshine Big Band. Super fun jazz/hip hop crossover with infectious party energy.

The cover of VILLAIN by Dutty Moonshine Big Band. It's a black and white photo of a woman with a broad-brimmed hat covering most of her face looking towards the camera so that just the hint of a smile is visible on her face.

Going to unthread these since Bluesky doesn't deal with that well. But here are my favourite new albums from last week: - VILLAIN by Dutty Moonshine Big Band - RELIGIOUS by Nina Kinert - LOVE LINES by LP (in particular "Long Goodbye", one of my favourite tracks so far this year)

The cover of RELIGIOUS by Nina Kinert. It's mostly blue with a stylised rendering of "Religious" on the top with crosses in the place of Is. In the bottom half is a photo of a woman in front of a cloudy blue sky, holding something reflecting into the camera. Her eyes are a slightly unnerving colourless white.

The cover of LOVE LINES by LP. It shows a non-binary person in a headband and aviator sunglasses looking off to the left. Their open shirt and jacket shows off a chest-tattoo of what looks like a sailing boat.
