I’ve been saying “well, at least we have his GGO novels” since… ugh, I don’t even want to think about it! I don’t attribute the lack of Kino up until now to malice or anything. I have a sneaking suspicion that they’ve considered it before but just had really conservative estimates

I’m curious myself. Came right out of the blue like DxD and Date A Live—though in their cases we kinda figured it was down to Fujimi Shobo needing to find trust in the English market. That is NOT the case with Dengeki! They were aggressive from the start! Bizarre, but I’ll take it!

I think both the old and new covers rule. Here’s a few I like in particular - Novel XII (new): Kino next to what is presumably a giant strawberry/raspberry cheesecake? - Novel IV (new): Blue void with the earth in the background. Mesmerizingly blue

For those who don’t know, the series’ covers adopted a new layout and style at novel 17, and each novel prior got a new cover to match. So those new covers are the ones we’ll be getting, but the interior illustrations will remain the same
