Also I'm not in the band obvs but my sense is that RGR has to balance between the great ideas of 11 brilliant women and @duniabest.bsky.social's amazing arrangement of "Love is a Battlefield" was her contribution for now... youtu.be/4dfjcvfQyE0?...

I can’t imagine the anguish in this situation. It seems more and more that women continue to suffer over decisions made by men who will never experience the pain. We need to get more women elected that will understand and work for women’s rights.

[tagging @rachelcleves.bsky.social since I may not have.] For a visual artist, it makes sense to set up the mise en scène. But the intellectual labor of a historian isn't duplicated by standing in their footsteps. Rachel Cleves started writing the book in 2005 and sent it to the publisher in 2013.

The many trips to archives, the poring through letters, the search for family, mentions of the couple as a married couple, even! The story of Charity and Sylvia was buried until @rachelcleves.bsky.social unearthed it. Women should support women and give appropriate credit where credit is due.
